White Merlot, Forest Glen, Sonoma
Well. A White Merlot is categorized as a blush. I decided to order it while dining out this weekend. It was sweet with a Floral Bouquet and a honey aroma. This week I also learned that the Bouquet is the overall scent of the wine (think, bouquet of flowers, an example would be "fruity) and the aromas are the individual smells within the bouquet (example, "lemon").
It had a great color, like almost fuchsia pink. It tasted like honey and melon and, surprisingly, finished with a little kick! I would definitely drink this wine again, but I don't think I would drink it with the pizza I was eating. It would be delicious if it were chilled and served on a hot day with some burgers or chicken hot off the grill.
